Home Manager, RGN, Elderly Nursing Care



My client is currently looking for a Home Manager (RGN) for a small sized privately owned dual registered nursing home / care home in Pinner. This home provides nursing & social care for frail elderly and mentally infirm. The home has an excellent reputation and already has a 3 star “excellent” rating from the care quality commission<br><br>This is an exciting opportunity to excel as a care home manager where real care home improvements are achievable with the right approach and commitment. My client will also part pay towards RMA training if required<br><br><br>The Role:<br><br>50% clinical role – very hands on<br>Responsible to the proprietors for the day-to-day running of the care home, including management of 28 staff and 5 nurses<br>Ensuring and maintaining the highest possible standards of treatment, care and support<br>You will lead, motivate and manage the multi-profession team<br>Responsible for the implementation of clinical governance and you will ensure compliance with all regulatory standards to help maintain the 3 star CQC rating<br><br><br>The Candidate:<br><br>Home manager candidates should have at least 3 years experience<br>Senior nurses with at least 5 years experience will also be considered<br>RGN qualification with elderly and dementia nursing home experience<br>Excellent managerial and clinical skills<br>RMA qualification ideal but not essential<br>Good communication skills with a caring and professional approach to your work.
