Area Sales Manager - Bedfordshire



My client is recruiting an Area Sales Manager with experience in contract sales to facilities management and building services companies

Ideal field sales backgrounds are: Lifts, textiles, cleaning, washroom, hygiene, pest control, engineering etc...



Ideally based commutable to Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire, you will sell lift & elevator maintenance contracts throughout London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire & Surrey.



Basic salary £25k - £33k





Key Tasks and Objectives



To obtain new lift maintenance contracts by meeting with clients and establishing their requirements. Prepare and submit quotations and actively follow-up to try and close the sale.



Generating enquiries through primary research involving the compilation of a database of buildings and lifts and then written introductory letters and telesales.



Submit a weekly sales report detailing:







Experience and Qualities Required



Field Sales experience selling contracts to FM & building services, end users

Candidates must be prepared to work independently



Candidates must be presentable, articulate (both verbally and in writing), engaging and persuasive. They should be able to think on their feet and be able to formulate original propositions to close a sale where appropriate.





Package

£27-33k basic depending on experience

Company Car

Mobile, laptop, broadband

Eligible to join Company Pension scheme after one year

Commission up to 20% of TO
