Product Data Management Engineer<br>£20,000-£27,000Plus , Dependant on experience <br>Benefits - Pension, Health Care, On-line discount scheme, etc <br>Duration – Permanent <br>Location – Bedford<br><br>Our client is looking to appoint a Product Data Management Engineer<br>on a permanent basis to join a global company. You will be working in the programme team and will be will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the design data and creating procurement and manufacturing BOMs, all in TeamCenter before transferring these to the ERP with no additional data manipulation.<br><br><br>The appointed Product Data Management Engineer will carry out the following duties;<br><br>• Working primarily in TeamCenter to create EBOM, MBOM & PBOM which are all linked to the item master and support both legislative and operation processes.<br>• Transferring data from TCEng to JDE<br>(there is to be no manipulation of the data once it has left TCEng)<br>• Ensure all Operational data including CNC programmes are linked to the Item Master in TCEng<br>• Manage the CCB to ensure 100% data integrity and minimal material obsolescence<br>• Support the development of work flows in TCEng to ensure everybody has input prior to item master release<br>• Work with Procurement, planning and operations to ensure that the appropriate lead-times, MPFs etc in JDE support the build methodology minimizing stock.<br>• Design of lean processes for data management.<br>• Automation of processes where possible<br>• Manual data entry where no automation.<br><br><br>The appointed Product Data Management Engineer will meeting the following key requirements for the post; <br><br>• The suitable applicant will possess experience in a PLM system and familiar with the data requirements for effective MRP<br>• Good PC knowledge with accurate keyboard entry skills<br>• Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers<br>• Ideally PLM & ERP Knowledge<br>• Strong Team Member<br><br><br><br><br>Orion Electrotech Ltd acts as both an Employment Business and Employment Agency and complies with the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations Act 2003.<br><br> Engineering and Technical Recruitment Specialists<br> Direct: Assembly Wiring Test Repair Inspection Stores Commissioning Service Maintenance<br> Indirect: Design & Development Engineering Supply Chain Quality HSE Projects Management <br
